In this edition of the project Panorama Brazil em Movimento we aim of giving a deep insight into Brazilian culture multiculturalism which is largely present in visual arts, cinema, music and literature. The importance of the multicultural influence in building the Brazilian cultural identity is one o the main focuses of this meeting.

Being Brazil a country where the society is composed of many small ethnicity, with this event we are trying to spread a human right culture through the organization of movies exhinition, visual exposition, book launch, workshops and debates. Thinking not only locally, by building national networks, but also internationally, by creating exchange cooperation in human rights education.

Our initiative aim to stimulate to carrying out, in an informal environment, studies and researches regarding the promotion of people awareness on human rights, the dialogue between formal and informal knowledge on human rights also involving private organization and public authority.

Furthermore, we try to build a critical vision of Brazilian socio-history and its multiculturalism, developing a dialogue on culture, education, cultural policies, diversity affirmation, solidarity, cooperation and social justice.

All cultural tasks automatically become important for creating the image of the country. As a matter of fact, the cultural dialogue will build the multifaceted image of the country more than any other promoted message or advertisement.

The project, Panorama Brasil em Movimento, turned itself into a cultural manifestation that goes beyond frontiers to find, stimuli, cooperation, shared experiences and knowledge; spreading the image of Contemporary Brazil; supporting exchanges and cultural dialogues; collaborating in themes and forming alliances, where there is a clear potential to progress further within a commun agenda in the human rights field.

One of the features of the association is its interdisciplinary aspect that reflects in all the actions and themes focusing on : citizenship, human rights, public safety, culture, language and communication.

The event suggests reflection, dialogue, involvement and mobilization of society as an integral part and as an agent transforming its habitat and its impact in the world.

The most people increase their capacity of intervention in the public sphere in order to satisfy the increasing needs and wishes, the most conflicts and tensions will arise.

In particular, the event focuses on managing supporting networks and technical and scientific cooperation partnerships with governmental institutions linked with human rights, with the aim of articulate and integrating the strengthening of themes concerning the human development challenge and the public policies one.

The team of the Panorama Brasil is made of researchers and professors of very well known Brazilian public universities, cineastes, cultural producers and visual artists. Its mission is to spread through arts (music, poetry, literature) the image of Contemporary Brazil, by using new technologies.
